Irina Rogozina

Producing Artistic Director

Irina has been managing the Experiment Theater workshop from 2011 to the present.

 

Irina graduated from EGTI, Yekaterinburg State Theater Institute in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Over her shoulders more than 30 roles that she played on the stage of the Novgorod Academic Drama Theater named after F.M.Dostoevsky, Veliky Novgorod.

 

The main roles in the theater:

  • Emma Hamilton in The Lady and the Admiral (A Bequest to the Nation) by Sir Terrence Rattigan

  • Suzanne in Dear Friend (Bel-Ami) by Guy de Maupassant

  • Glafira in Wolves and Sheep by Alexander Ostrovsky

  • Rose in Little Birds (Chers oiseaux) by Jean Anouilh

  • Hyacinthe in The Impostures of Scapin (Les Fourberies de Scapin) by Molière

  • Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

  • Madeleine in Difficult Parents (Parents Terribles) by Jean Cocteau

  • Zoya Vasilyevna Okaemova in Handsome Man by Alexander Ostrovsky 

  • Clarice in A Shrewd Maid (Il mondo della luna) by Carlo Goldoni

Irina was awarded the title "Best Actress of the Year" in 2002 and 2003.

 

In the USA, Irina has established herself as a highly effective and creative artistic director. Two years before joining THEATER STUDIO EXPERIMENT, she was an actress at the People and Puppets Theater in Maryland. The theater took part in the street theater festival in Washington. The festival was held at the French embassy.

She also participates in various social events related to theater, music, and literature for adults and children.

From 2011 to 2014, she was the director and organizer of the Children's Theater Festival in Washington.
